The customer intelligence layer for forward-deployed teams

Every customer promise, tracked. Every engagement's health, visible. Zero data entry.

The job is decreasing time to value: how fast a customer verifies the outcome they bought. We built Stipulate to cut that time in half for teams running several bespoke engagements at once.
For forward-deployed and solutions teams, and for the consultants and implementation teams who deliver software for clients.

The targets we build Stipulate around:

50%
Faster Time to Value
10+
Hours Saved Per Week
95%
Outcomes Verified On Schedule

SCROLL DOWN TO LEARN HOW

Built to Shorten Time to Value

Our north star is how fast a customer verifies the outcome they bought. These are the goals we design toward, with the assumptions behind each one spelled out.

Goal: Cut Customer Time to Value by 50%

Before:

Outcome verification waits on stalled requests, missed commitments, and health read secondhand

After:

Stalls surface early, commitments stay visible, and the lead sees each engagement's health live

Target: outcome verified in half the time

Goal: Reduce Follow-Up Chasing from 15 Hours to 3 Hours Per Engagement

Before:

Sending 10+ follow-up messages, scheduling reminder calls, manually tracking spreadsheets

After:

Stipulate captures action items from Slack conversations and nudges owners on what is stalling

Goal: 80% less follow-up time

Goal: Catch Slipping Commitments Before the Customer Does

Before:

Discovering missed deliverables in the renewal conversation, then scrambling to adjust the plan

After:

Overdue and blocked items surface in App Home, the weekly digest, and the engagement health read

Goal: 95% of commitments tracked to completion

Goal: Automate 70% of Manual Engagement Administration

Before:

Manually creating action items, updating status, sending reminders, chasing owners

After:

Stipulate applies updates from conversation, each with a source link and an Undo

Goal: 70% less manual admin work

What Stipulate Solves For

The patterns we hear from forward-deployed, solutions, and implementation teams.

They have to learn the customer first.

Forward-deployed and solutions teams must understand each customer's business process before they can build. Details get missed when documentation is created, if it is created at all.

Everyone is juggling multiple engagements.

Each resource carries several concurrent customers, so context fragments across Slack threads, call transcripts, email, and memory.

Engagements stall silently.

A data request can sit unanswered for two weeks without anyone noticing, until the renewal conversation goes sideways.

The accountable people are rarely in the room.

The team lead and the economic buyer typically read engagement health secondhand, by interrupting the person doing the work.

The job is decreasing time to value.

Our north star is how fast a customer verifies the outcome they bought. Stipulate sits above the delivery stack and works with however your team ships.

The Customer Intelligence Layer

Every customer conversation carries decisions, risks, and commitments that rarely make it into a tracker. Stipulate reads your customer Slack channels and turns them into records you can query: each one points back to the message it came from.

Structured records with status and source

Decisions, risks, blockers, requirements, open questions, goals, and milestones are extracted as separate records with a status and a confidence. Repeat mentions reconcile into the existing record instead of creating a duplicate, and a resolved blocker is marked resolved.

Attribution: who actually said it

Statements are captured with their speaker and typed as decision, approval, assignment, requirement, proposal, status update, or rejection, then linked to the records they originated, confirmed, updated, contradicted, or superseded. When two statements conflict, Stipulate flags the conflict and resolves precedence rather than picking silently.

People, roles, and authority

Stipulate builds a picture of who is who on the account: their role, their relationships, and whether they can actually approve something. Every claim carries its own status of Confirmed, Inferred, or Disputed, with confidence stated in words, and a disputed claim shows both sources side by side.

Process maps and jobs-to-be-done

The customer workflow you are delivering against, assembled from what the customer described: steps with inputs, outputs, systems involved, and the pain points at each one, plus the jobs-to-be-done behind them, with the situation, motivation, and the workaround they use today.

Ask, or search

Ask Stipulate a question and get an answer with numbered evidence behind it. Or skip the model entirely: search authorized project history and intelligence directly, filtered by person, date range, source type, or exact phrase. Results only, with no generated answer.

History it was not there for

Point Stipulate at a channel it joined late and import the backlog: the available history, the last 30, 90, or 180 days, or from a date you choose. Imported conversations feed the same records and the same retrieval, with progress reported as it runs.

Every Claim Shows Its Work

An AI that quietly guesses about your customer is worse than no AI at all. These rules are built into the product itself.

Every record links to its source

The Slack message that produced a record is one click away. No unattributable claims.

Confidence stated in words

High, medium, or low, because a false 87% reads as precision the model does not have.

It says when it does not know

If the retrieved evidence does not support an answer, Ask Stipulate says so instead of filling the gap.

Anything applied can be undone

Auto-applied updates arrive with their source and an Undo, and undoing teaches Stipulate to ask first next time.

How It Works

Three moves: capture the conversation, surface the commitments, see engagement health

1

Capture

Stipulate reads the Slack channels where delivery already happens. No forms, no status meetings, no write-ups. Invite it to the channel, and if it joined late, import the back history: the previous 30, 90, or 180 days, or from a date you pick.

Example:

Stipulate joins #meridian-deployment mid-engagement. The team imports 90 days of history, and the commitments made before it arrived become searchable alongside everything since.

2

Surface

It detects commitments and action items from the conversation, tracks their status, and nudges on what is stalling and who to ping next. Changes apply with a link to the message they came from and a one-tap Undo. Lower-confidence changes are held back as a yes/no question instead of applied.

Example:

Someone posts 'we can't rehearse the cutover until the export mapping lands'. A blocker is filed with its source message. Two days later 'mapping is done, we're good' marks the same blocker resolved.

3

See

Leads get a live health read per engagement: days since last communication, aging items, blocked work, and whether the outcome the customer bought is still on track. You get the same read in App Home: your top three open items, ranked, and what changed while you were away.

Example:

An overdue blocked item reads At risk. An overdue item still in progress reads Watch. The rules stay visible, and the same words appear everywhere.

Built With Delivery Practitioners

We're solving the problems that have frustrated delivery teams for years

Does This Sound Familiar?

Delivery practitioners describe these patterns in public, in their own words.

Kickoff Forensics

"So every Monday morning, I'm doing forensics. Listening to 3-4 sales calls at 2× speed… Hunting down the AE (who's already moved on)… What did we actually promise? What were the objections? Who are the decision-makers? … 2.5 hours later, I finally understand the deal well enough to not look clueless on the kickoff call."

How Stipulate helps:
AI extracts key details from sales calls automatically
Source →
Missing Requirements

"At a certain point, the action items aren't all on me… this is the part where customers have to provide their own data so we can input values, or something else where there really isn't anything we can do to push progress and success forward."

How Stipulate helps:
AI tracks customer-owed action items and flags stalled ones before they block go-live
Source →
Tool Overload

"I'm drowning in busywork, updating like five different tools just to say the same thing, and sitting in endless meetings about other meetings. The other day I realized I spent my entire morning just moving cards around in Jira and copy-pasting updates into different formats for different stakeholders."

How Stipulate helps:
Single source of truth accessible directly in Slack conversations
Source →
Reactive Management

"I often feel like the admin work I am forced into makes it really difficult to find time to do my actual job. I'm always having to update everything in multiple places only for management to not read it and then Slack me or meet with me for updates. I just want to talk to my customers and make them happy! I'm so tired of feeling like a professional note taker."

How Stipulate helps:
Automated status updates and proactive risk detection

Questions From Delivery Teams

The questions we hear most from teams evaluating Stipulate.

Yes, that is the team we build for first. Forward-deployed and solutions teams run bespoke engagements where the promises live in Slack threads, call transcripts, and memory. Stipulate captures those promises, tracks their status, and gives the lead a live health read per engagement: days since last communication, aging items, and blocked work. The north star is decreasing time to value, how fast a customer verifies the outcome they bought. Consultants and systems integrators who implement software for clients get the same workflow.
Traditional project management tools require you to manually create and update tasks. Stipulate reads the customer Slack channels you already work in and builds a Customer Intelligence Layer from them: decisions, risks, blockers, requirements, open questions, goals, and milestones, each with a status, a confidence, and a link back to the message it came from. It also tracks who said what, which stakeholder can actually approve something, and the customer process you are delivering against. Think of it as an AI assistant experienced in customer delivery work that does the engagement admin for you, plus a searchable record you would otherwise reconstruct from backscroll.
No. Stipulate works inside Slack where your team already collaborates. You don't need to train your team on a new tool, ask the customer to log in anywhere, or change your processes. Just invite the app to your customer channels, and your existing Slack channels simply become smarter.
Every record Stipulate files links back to the Slack message it came from, so you can check any claim in one click. When you ask Stipulate a question, the answer comes with numbered evidence, each source dated and attributed, and if the retrieved evidence doesn't support an answer, it tells you that instead of guessing. Confidence is stated in words (high, medium, low) rather than a false-precision percentage. Changes Stipulate applies on its own show what caused them and carry a one-tap Undo; lower-confidence changes are held back as a yes/no question rather than applied. If you'd rather skip the model entirely, you can search your authorized project history and intelligence directly, filtered by person, date, source, or exact phrase, and get results with no generated answer at all.
Yes, if you ask it to. Once Stipulate is in a channel, you can import that channel's back history: everything available, the last 30, 90, or 180 days, or from a date you choose. Imported conversations feed the same records and the same search as everything going forward, and the import reports its progress as it runs so you can see what's been processed. It's the fastest way to get value on engagements already underway.
We treat that as a first-class case. Stipulate captures statements with their speaker and type (decision, approval, assignment, requirement, proposal, status update, rejection) and links them to the records they confirm, update, contradict, or supersede. When statements genuinely conflict, the conflict is flagged and resolved by precedence rules rather than one version quietly winning. The same applies to people: a stakeholder claim can be Confirmed, Inferred, or Disputed, and a disputed claim shows both sources so you can settle it yourself. If a logged decision contradicts a goal you're tracking, the goal is flagged with a pointer to the exact decision entry.
We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, AI analysis happens in isolated environments, and we store conversation data only as long as needed. SOC 2 Type II certification is in progress, and we follow industry best practices for security.
Value typically shows up from the first day of channel activity, and immediately if you import the channel's back history at install. Within 2 weeks, time spent on manual status updates and follow-up chasing usually drops. Within 30 days, missed action items get rarer and risk flags come earlier. Full ROI typically takes 2 to 3 months as the team adopts the proactive workflows.
Stipulate works for any multi-week engagement, and the ROI is typically highest at 4 to 12 weeks, where stakeholder coordination and edge case discovery are critical. For 1 to 2 week engagements there is less admin to automate, but the AI-powered action item suggestions and conversation analysis still save time.
Absolutely. Start by inviting Stipulate to a single customer channel. Our Free tier includes unlimited projects, AI action-item extraction, and automated reminders and digests, so you can validate the value on one engagement before rolling it out to the team. Teams often add the Manager Dashboard once a second engagement is running.
At $399/month for Professional (Advanced AI insights & predictions), Stipulate costs a small fraction of a full-time delivery hire, often $80K to $120K a year. The real ROI comes from capacity: each person saving 10+ hours a week adds up quickly across a team of five, without the hiring, training, and overhead costs.
